Breakfast is served on the spacious sun porch during warmer weather, or in the restored dining room beside a crackling fire during colder months. This sumptuous meal may feature crepés made with the Inn's own raspberries. Our breakfast of the day varies with the season and availability of the freshest ingredients.

The Inn is open year-round; however, rooms are by reservation only December— April. Advance reservations are strongly recommended, though not required during the rest of the year. Rates are discounted off-season and for all stays of three nights or more. For the health and safety of our guests, we are a smoke-free environment. Although two cats are at home in the public rooms of the Inn, we regrettably cannot accommodate guest's pets.

We are located on a quiet street in the small town of Stockton Springs, just a short distance from busy Route One. Stockton Springs was in its prime during the mid 1800's, when wooden shipbuilding was the region's major industry. The most prolific shipbuilder in town, N.G. Hichborn and his wife Caroline built this stately Italianate-style Victorian home in about 1850. The house was occupied by the Hichborn family until the passing of Mary Hichborn in 1939, and today it remains in nearly original condition. The N.G. Hichborn house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
